Computer security and AI scam safety guide
Simple precautions for suspicious emails, fake virus warnings, QR codes and convincing impersonation. Use the blank results sheet for a completed visit.
Pause and verify independently
- Open a known official app or bookmark instead of following an unexpected message’s link.
- A familiar voice or realistic video does not prove identity. Check with a known contact before acting.
- Keep sign-in and recovery codes private. Do not give control of your computer to an unsolicited caller.
- If money was sent or information was exposed, promptly contact the relevant provider through known details.
The download is an unfilled results-sheet template and educational guide. It is not evidence that your computer has been inspected, or a guarantee of protection.
